Here’s a little information about this beautiful stone:

Pietersite has only been found recently in the desert of Namibia and was given the name of its discoverer, Sid Pieters.Pietersite is also known as the Tempest Stone because the swirling colors in the mineral can look like a storm. It is said to "hold the keys to the kingdom of heaven".
